The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Messi Dream Team's Elias Macerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Messi Dream Team from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merten Münch in the 13th minute of play forced Derminator's goalkeeper Zülfikar Arıbaş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Burak Tanyıldız recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elias Macerio. Burak Tanyıldız showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Merten Münch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zülfikar Arıbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Burak Tanyıldız got free with Elias Macerio in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Burak Tanyıldızs short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Elias Macerio to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Burak Tanyıldız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elias Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Burak Tanyıldız had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Macerio made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Burak Tanyıldız sent off a good shot on target. The throw-in from Rodolfo Bastiaro in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Derminator's Hermengildo Roano. Zülfikar Arıbaş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merten Münch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Burak Tanyıldız left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Derminator fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
Derminator's Tao Xun Ying was substituted for Şener Kazan. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Burak Tanyıldız stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Merten Münch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Zülfikar Arıbaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Merten Münch got free with Zülfikar Arıbaş in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tao Xun Ying in the 61st minute of play forced Messi Dream Team's goalkeeper Elias Macerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Sergen Volkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Derminator's zone, Merten Münch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zülfikar Arıbaş came out of the goal and Merten Münch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute Semih Hunalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Messi Dream Team's goal looked a bit too open when Burhanettin Baykam came free, but Elias Macerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Derminator booed when Messi Dream Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Argoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Messi Dream Team's attentive Teodosio Argoitz managed to snatch the ball when Grigoris Spanoulis made a throw-in in the 71st minute of the game. Merten Münch in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zülfikar Arıbaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 73rd minute Burak Tanyıldız shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Macerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Burak Tanyıldız in the 75th minute of the match. Elias Macerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Semih Hunalp in the 81st minute of play. In the 82nd minute Sergen Volkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Macerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burak Tanyıldız received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Elias Macerio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Messi Dream Team's Merten Münch got a free kick in the 98th minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Derminator had played much better football throughout.
