Jan Schulz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Stroescu in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute Emanuel Stroescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Holy Cross Mountains was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Decuseară to maneuver through the defense. Albert Booth's late challenge caught a FC Hollywood's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Booth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Horea Decuseară reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jan Schulz. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 29th minute Björn Klöting shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jan Schulz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Stroescu in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Hollywood getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Sascha Rothschild hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Shields came free, but Jan Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sascha Rothschild was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Sascha Rothschild kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Roque Terron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Holy Cross Mountains's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Terron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jan Schulz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Jan Schulz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 65th minute Pedro Shields shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Schulz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Hollywood's Jan Schulz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Stroescu in the 68th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, FC Hollywood's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Shields came free, but Jan Schulz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
