William Kock recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 minutes of play, Atletico Maturrango's Florencio Herbella made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Nascimento was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arí Pereira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Weather Piedrahita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arí Pereira in the 21st minute of the match. Dida Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Herbella's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute Atletico Maturrango were awarded a corner. Hitzeder Serans went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Hitzeder Serans got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Dida Nascimento quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 27 minutes into the match, Atletico Maturrango's goal looked a bit too open when Arí Pereira came free, but Weather Piedrahita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th minute Arí Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Weather Piedrahita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Mendes made in the 34th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Arí Pereira immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of LauerArmy booed when Atletico Maturrango was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristobal Tabby didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the game, LauerArmy's Arí Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weather Piedrahita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Weather Piedrahita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Cabral in the 44th minute of play. The Atletico Maturrango players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LauerArmy were winning 1-3.

51 minutes into the game, Marcial Zuazna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletico Maturrango's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LauerArmy the free kick. A collision led to LauerArmy getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Oscar Mendes hit a great ball. Weather Piedrahita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LauerArmy. Atletico Maturrango's Weather Piedrahita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Atletico Maturrango from getting a goal against them. LauerArmy's Dida Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Sardaneta in the 72nd minute of play. Atletico Maturrango's Fidencio Santandres was substituted for Cristobal Tabby. Atletico Maturrango made a substitution. Ederono Ojero replaced Florencio Herbella.
