Pedrinho Falconetti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gilmar Quadros made a huge save. 33 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goal looked a bit too open when Caetano Levandowsky came free, but Shao Shu Lang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilmar Quadros made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when 武光星 sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute Elias Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shao Shu Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barcelona de América's Elias Pettersson got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 47 minutes of play, Barcelona de América's Caetano Levandowsky made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Shao Shu Lang was left in no man's land by his defense there! Barcelona de América made a substitution. Perlaza Lena replaced Ronaldinho Gentenaar. Barcelona de América's Zayvion Ispuzua was substituted for Caetano Levandowsky. Encarale a la gordita's Jurand Sienkowski was substituted for 武光星. Barcelona de América made a substitution. Thomas Ravousis replaced Elias Pettersson. After the first half Barcelona de América were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Zayvion Ispuzua might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Shao Shu Lang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zayvion Ispuzua ran back to his position shaking his head. Barcelona de América's Gilmar Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jurand Sienkowski in the 58th minute of play. Jurand Sienkowski scored 2-2 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilmar Quadros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Encarale a la gordita made a substitution. Herman Lindholm replaced Ildefonso Bernabel. In the 70th minute, Zayvion Ispuzua ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Shao Shu Lang was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. In the 79th minute, Pedrinho Falconetti made a precise shot to the right of Gilmar Quadros. Barcelona de América's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. The audience was convinced that Zayvion Ispuzua's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Shao Shu Lang was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Gilmar Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Falconetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jurand Sienkowski in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilmar Quadros saved Barcelona de América from getting behind. In the 98th minute Pedrinho Falconetti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilmar Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Barcelona de América had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
