Belo Alvarez started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Belo Alvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Thanasis Koltsidas. AEK S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belo Alvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. AEK S.C's Alfaro Meo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Erlantz Bermejo, made in the 7th minute of the game. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco de Andrade, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Belo Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jelte Bleiswijk got free with Maurino Serena in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 24 in the game by Jelte Bleiswijk from a close distance when the talented Maurino Serena managed to make a qualified save. A.D. Alcorcón's players were relieved. Esteban Vadillos hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Koltsidas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. A.D. Alcorcón's Nereo Acosta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Thanasis Koltsidas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Erlantz Bermejo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanasis Koltsidas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Belo Alvarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jelte Bleiswijk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Arcadio Ramiréz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Maurino Serena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jelte Bleiswijk. 40 minutes in the game, Jelte Bleiswijk dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Alfaro Meo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Maurino Serena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jelte Bleiswijk to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Donzel Goyeneta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Belo Alvarez hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AEK S.C's Aníbal Lima got a free kick in the 56th minute. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas was substituted for Nereo Acosta. In the 58th minute, Aníbal Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 minutes of play, AEK S.C's Jelte Bleiswijk made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurino Serena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donzel Goyeneta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute of the match AEK S.C got a corner. A.D. Alcorcón's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfaro Meo ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 67th minute, Erlantz Bermejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurino Serena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donzel Goyeneta in the 67th minute of the match. A.D. Alcorcón's Maurino Serena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelte Bleiswijk in the 70th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Jelte Bleiswijk managed to get in a good position for a shot. AEK S.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Jelte Bleiswijk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maurino Serena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A.D. Alcorcón made a substitution. Leroy Antunez replaced Belo Alvarez. AEK S.C's Thalis Krommidas was substituted for Jelte Bleiswijk. Maurino Serena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thalis Krommidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. João Francisco de Andrade hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. A.D. Alcorcón's Laurin Mangas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Konstantinos Kouventolakis in the 87 minute of the game. The throw-in from Kevin Carreira in the 88th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.D. Alcorcón's Eusebio Quijana. João Francisco de Andrade hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Thalis Krommidas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thalis Krommidas in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maurino Serena saved A.D. Alcorcón from getting behind. In the 95th minute AEK S.C were awarded a corner. Kevin Carreira went to the cornerflag to take it. AEK S.C's Kevin Carreira was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurino Serena in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. AEK S.C were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
