Sebastian Hellkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bayan Gol in the 5th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Éric Cantona's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Okanalp Çağman was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Éric Cantona put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Okanalp Çağman. Güngör İşkembeci hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éric Cantona in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Éric Cantona in the 18th minute of play forced Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Okanalp Çağman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but Okanalp Çağman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Fear Of The Dark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Humberto Barragan who took care of the corner kick. 26 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goal looked a bit too open when Éric Cantona came free, but Okanalp Çağman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jakub Ziombkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Sebastian Hellkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Inter de Guayaquil FC from getting a goal against them. Fear Of The Dark's Bayan Gol was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sebastian Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xavier Pestana in the 38th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Inter de Guayaquil FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bayan Gol came free, but Sebastian Hellkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Inter de Guayaquil FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Inter de Guayaquil FC's Zé Pedro Baptista was substituted for Humberto Barragan. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bayan Gol made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jörn Svartengren got free with Okanalp Çağman in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fear Of The Dark made a substitution. Ignat Mankov replaced Tim-Florian Kownatzki. When Fear Of The Dark's Bayan Gol in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 78th minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Okanalp Çağman. Okanalp Çağman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Xavier Pestana struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Sebastian Hellkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fear Of The Dark. In the 87th minute, Inter de Guayaquil FC's Jörn Svartengren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. 90 minutes into the game, Fear Of The Dark's Bayan Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Hellkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bayan Gol in the 96th minute of play forced Inter de Guayaquil FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Hellkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
