Doğuhan Serbülend could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Sebastian Hellkvist made a huge save. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xavier Pestana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sebastian Hellkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natã Xavier in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Fear Of The Dark's Natã Xavier dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Okanalp Çağman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jakub Ziombkowski went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Okanalp Çağman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Humberto Barragan, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Okanalp Çağman came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Inter de Guayaquil FC's Humberto Barragan. But to his dismay, Humberto Barragan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğuhan Serbülend, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 30 minutes into the game, Natã Xavier threw the ball into play from the sideline. Inter de Guayaquil FC's Saffet Ataergin quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xavier Pestana got free with Sebastian Hellkvist in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Saffet Ataergin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Okanalp Çağman having to make a save. Okanalp Çağman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Éric Cantona, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Sebastian Hellkvist made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Bayan Gol sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the match, Natã Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Hellkvist. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Inter de Guayaquil FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
