Ulryk Czajka was slow to take the kick. During this time Noroeste Paulista's players had a chance to rest. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vinicio Florin got free with Damaso Roldanillo in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nuno de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Mickael Wuyts was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Dinei Laguna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 52 minute of play. Noroeste Paulista's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
