Sixto Fraco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 3rd minute. Sixto Fraco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cui Qing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sixto Fraco was a little too slow when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 14 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Negri. A hard shot by Algitas Dubauskas from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Sixto Fraco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Sixto Fraco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Nàstic de Tarragona's Sixto Fraco got control of the ball when Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Absoliut was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naglis Guzas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Algitas Girkantas in the 27th minute of play forced Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper Sixto Fraco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Absoliut's Algitas Girkantas managed to work through Nàstic de Tarragona's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Algitas Girkantas dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Robertas Sabaitis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chico Vidales's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Chico Vidales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Absoliut's Robertas Sabaitis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 46 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Nàstic de Tarragona! Sixto Fraco went to the wrong direction when Algitas Girkantas was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu made a kick off. In the 55th minute Algitas Girkantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Fraco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Sixto Fraco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robertas Sabaitis made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Hieronim Wlodyga sent off a good shot on target. In the 65th minute of the match Nàstic de Tarragona got a corner. Absoliut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chico Vidales ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Nàstic de Tarragona's corner Chico Vidales fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Robertas Sabaitis quite easily take care of the ball. Emilio Freire struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Robertas Sabaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nàstic de Tarragona. After 71 minutes, Augustin Negreanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nàstic de Tarragona and the Absoliut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Nàstic de Tarragona got a freekick which was hit by Augustin Negreanu. Absoliut made a substitution. Henrikas Stulpinas replaced Jerzy Frankowski. Augustin Negreanu hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. When Absoliut's Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nàstic de Tarragona's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Absoliut booed when Nàstic de Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Roca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nàstic de Tarragona made a substitution. Iñaki Portillo replaced Chico Vidales. Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Sixto Fraco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Absoliut. Sixto Fraco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Hakan Tosunoğlu in the 92nd minute of play. Nàstic de Tarragona made a substitution. Facundo Lastras replaced Augustin Negreanu. Henrikas Stulpinas hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Absoliut had played much better football throughout.
