The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lazar Milosavljević came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Girona FC's Everardo Atauri. But to his dismay, Everardo Atauri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 5th match minute, Фк РАДНИК Колонија was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogomir Ivezic to maneuver through the defense. In the 5th minute of the match Iván Salgado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lazar Milosavljević showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Srećko Milosavljević in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristiano Aveiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lazar Milosavljević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Atauri in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Atauri in the 26th minute of play forced Фк РАДНИК Колонија's goalkeeper Lazar Milosavljević to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Фк РАДНИК Колонија's Lazar Milosavljević proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Фк РАДНИК Колонија from getting a goal against them. Lazar Milosavljević showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Atauri in the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berkay Yetiş got free with Lazar Milosavljević in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lazar Milosavljević having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Ovidio Maldonado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristiano Aveiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Srećko Milosavljević, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Gdaniec made a kick off. The corner ended in Wally Casey almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Girona FC's Cristiano Aveiro did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Srećko Milosavljević in the 59th minute of play forced Girona FC's goalkeeper Cristiano Aveiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lazar Milosavljević took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Gdaniec, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lazar Milosavljević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Gdaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Roman Gdaniec scored 2-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lazar Milosavljević, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 69 played minutes Girona FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaizkine Babia. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Фк РАДНИК Колонија's goalkeeper Lazar Milosavljević, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Roman Gdaniec who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Фк РАДНИК Колонија's Lazar Milosavljević was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Roman Gdaniec put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lazar Milosavljević. After 84 played minutes Фк РАДНИК Колонија got a freekick which was hit by Lazar Miodragović. 90 minutes into the match, Фк РАДНИК Колонија's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Gdaniec came free, but Lazar Milosavljević reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Alfonso De Pedro notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Фк РАДНИК Колонија's Lazar Milosavljević. Lazar Milosavljević was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Girona FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Фк РАДНИК Колонија had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
