After 11 minutes FC GURZUN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Hekman who took care of the corner kick. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Thiago Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCs StarS's supporters rose to their feet, but Thiago Gol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Vargas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Jordy Dirks shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC GURZUN's goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, SCs StarS's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Nikolas Kafkalas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Thiago Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 27th minute of play. Angel Patrido kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Nae Hurmuzache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sérgio Vargas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Gol's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nae Hurmuzache. Nae Hurmuzache could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Petr Čech made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nikolas Kafkalas made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Thiago Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Vargas came out of the goal and Thiago Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute SCs StarS were awarded a corner. Florian Hekman went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 62nd match minute, FC GURZUN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joakim Andersson to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Florian Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Vargas came out of the goal and Florian Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the SCs StarS defense, Angel Patrido kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petr Čech. The SCs StarS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petr Čech should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas got control of the ball when Jordy Dirks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 69th minute of the match. SCs StarS's Petr Čech played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nae Hurmuzache in the 71st minute of play. FC GURZUN's Sérgio Vargas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save FC GURZUN from getting a goal against them. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nae Hurmuzache, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nae Hurmuzache in the 75th minute of play forced SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
