After 10 minutes of play, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Máximo Correia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thiago Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Máximo Correia having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Thiago Gol notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia. Máximo Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 29th minute, Isaias Jakue left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. In the 95th minute, Wlodzimierz Kochanowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The SCs StarS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SCs StarS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
