Zoltán Szepes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Castro went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Augusto Lousada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lóránd Borbás, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute PMFC 2018 were awarded a corner. Lóránd Borbás went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led PMFC 2018's Ottó Csáki to fire away a dangerous shot which Augusto Lousada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 18 minutes, Béla Salgó mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PMFC 2018 and the Seleção de Macau players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Seleção de Macau booed when PMFC 2018 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Béla Salgó didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bánk Mónos's late challenge caught a Seleção de Macau's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bánk Mónos helped the player get up and apologised. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Coimbra in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Enzo Min shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoltán Szepes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Coimbra in the 27th minute of play. Joel Coimbra might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zoltán Szepes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joel Coimbra ran back to his position shaking his head. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Min in the 35th minute of play. David Modesto took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zoltán Szepes. Zoltán Szepes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Máté Gaál charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Máté Gaál the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in PMFC 2018 fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 58th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Zoltán Szepes, was totally fooled by Seleção de Macau's Octávio Valentim, who 60 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. 63 minutes into the game, Joel Coimbra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Zoltán Szepes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Seleção de Macau getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Krzysztof Jaraczewski hit a great ball. Enzo Min's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoltán Szepes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enzo Min in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zoltán Szepes saved PMFC 2018 from getting behind. 88 minutes into the match, Seleção de Macau's Joel Coimbra sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoltán Szepes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 91 minutes of play, Seleção de Macau's David Modesto made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zoltán Szepes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Seleção de Macau's Augusto Lousada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bánk Mónos in the 97th minute of play.
