After 10 minutes of play, Sporting Buceo's Feng Jun made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sérgio Vargas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Máximo Correia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ettore Madaio, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Sérgio Vargas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feng Jun in the 18th minute of play. Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after FC GURZUN's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Xuan Casillas took the corner. Sérgio Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yao Yan Sen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xacintu Urruchua kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Nikolas Kafkalas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Máximo Correia made a huge save. After some careless play in the FC GURZUN defense, Feng Jun kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sérgio Vargas. The FC GURZUN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sérgio Vargas should have stopped the shot. After 32 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Alexandru Ghionea. After 33 played minutes, Sporting Buceo's Xuan Casillas shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sérgio Vargas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sporting Buceo reached it. In the 34th minute Feng Jun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Vargas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Sporting Buceo's goal looked a bit too open when Ettore Madaio came free, but Máximo Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ettore Madaio scored 1-3 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Máximo Correia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Máximo Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nae Hurmuzache in the 43rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ettore Madaio in the 47th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Sporting Buceo were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feng Jun was the one to do the kick off. Feng Jun received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sérgio Vargas came out and tried to block the shot, but Feng Jun slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 58th minute. Sérgio Vargas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Feng Jun in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feng Jun got free with Sérgio Vargas in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Máximo Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nikolas Kafkalas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Sporting Buceo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joakim Andersson who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to FC GURZUN's Ettore Madaio getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Feng Jun blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sérgio Vargas having to make a save. When Nae Hurmuzache fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GURZUN's protests and gave Nae Hurmuzache a yellow card for diving instead. After 71 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Nae Hurmuzache. Feng Jun might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Vargas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feng Jun ran back to his position shaking his head. Feng Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sérgio Vargas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feng Jun got free with Sérgio Vargas in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Ettore Madaio hit a great ball. FC GURZUN made a substitution. Matei Cozmâncă replaced Ettore Madaio. Ettore Madaio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Ramiro Gago made in the 93rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Angel Patrido immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mihnea Tincu in the 94th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sporting Buceo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
