After having played for 4 minutes, Thiago Gol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thiago Gol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zoltán Szepes came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by SCs StarS's Thiago Gol. But to his dismay, Thiago Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 16 minutes into the game, SCs StarS's Thiago Gol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zoltán Szepes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Thiago Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Zoltán Szepes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zoltán Szepes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Thiago Gol went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Koppány Keresztesi's late challenge caught a SCs StarS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Koppány Keresztesi helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Koppány Keresztesi got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Wlodzimierz Kochanowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Zoltán Szepes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Gol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zoltán Szepes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Thiago Gol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zoltán Szepes was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. If Jordy Dirks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th minute, Thiago Gol hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes PMFC 2018 got a freekick which was hit by Áron Salamon. 41 minutes into the match, PMFC 2018's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Zoltán Szepes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Gol in the 43rd minute of play. After 44 minutes, Henk Zijden mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SCs StarS and the PMFC 2018 players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PMFC 2018 booed when SCs StarS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henk Zijden didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, SCs StarS's Matthijs Ebbinge got a free kick in the 45th minute. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lóránd Borbás blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petr Čech having to make a save. After a rather tough play, PMFC 2018's Áron Salamon got a free kick in the 55th minute. Zoltán Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thiago Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SCs StarS's attentive Wlodzimierz Kochanowski managed to snatch the ball when Koppány Keresztesi made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. Árpád Havas kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's Florian Hekman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zoltán Szepes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Jordy Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot. SCs StarS's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordy Dirks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zoltán Szepes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zoltán Szepes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thiago Gol in the 70th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Thiago Gol in the 73rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Petr Čech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Áron Salamon in the 77th minute of play. Zoltán Szepes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jordy Dirks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in PMFC 2018's zone, Florian Hekman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zoltán Szepes came out of the goal and Florian Hekman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thiago Gol in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zoltán Szepes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 82 minutes, Thiago Gol made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. PMFC 2018's Zoltán Szepes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the game, Bánk Mónos threw the ball into play from the sideline. SCs StarS's Wlodzimierz Kochanowski quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. SCs StarS's Jordy Dirks got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jordy Dirks took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zoltán Szepes. Zoltán Szepes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Thiago Gol struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Zoltán Szepes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SCs StarS.
