The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Sporting Buceo's Xuan Casillas got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 10th minute, Thiago Gol ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Máximo Correia was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Feng Jun might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petr Čech. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feng Jun ran back to his position shaking his head. Petr Čech took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feng Jun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Matthijs Ebbinge with Thiago Gol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Edgar Reitsema made in the 33rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Thiago Gol. Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jordy Dirks in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Sporting Buceo getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Xuan Casillas hit a great ball. With a little luck, Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia got control of the ball when Thiago Gol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feng Jun in the 38th minute of the match. Feng Jun's late challenge caught a SCs StarS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feng Jun helped the player get up and apologised. Feng Jun hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Feng Jun made a kick off. With a little luck, SCs StarS's Petr Čech got control of the ball when Feng Jun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yao Yan Sen kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jordy Dirks in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd match minute, SCs StarS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Co Scholten to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute Thiago Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Máximo Correia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thiago Gol in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Máximo Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Thiago Gol sped through Sporting Buceo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Máximo Correia. Filimon Gamburtsev kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Co Scholten kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feng Jun in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petr Čech prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 94 minutes into the match, SCs StarS's goalkeeper Petr Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feng Jun. SCs StarS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
