After having played for 25 minutes, Jordy Dirks managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SCs StarS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jordy Dirks was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the match, Thiago Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ronny Oppedal, 4-0. In the 37th minute, 罗松棋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 38 played minutes Ranheim IL got a freekick which was hit by Steffen Lund. Ronny Oppedal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Co Scholten in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes Ranheim IL's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florian Hekman who took care of the corner kick. Steffen Lund hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Thiago Gol took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronny Oppedal. Ronny Oppedal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Gol to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Ranheim IL's zone, Thiago Gol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Oppedal came out of the goal and Thiago Gol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Asmund Normann got free with Petr Čech in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 57 minutes into the match, Ranheim IL's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Gol came free, but Ronny Oppedal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Steffen Lund during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Steffen Lund hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Ronny Oppedal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jordy Dirks, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. SCs StarS's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Florian Hekman in the 67th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Edgar Reitsema heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Petr Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Asmund Normann in the 71st minute of the match. That made the score 5-1 after 93 minutes of play. The SCs StarS support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
