The supporters of Cuiavia Bydgoszcz booed when H E P T A N was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Murat Şenalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 1-1 when 倪源迪 sped through H E P T A N's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orhan Seyfi Üstün. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 倪源迪 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Toni Broekema got free with Orhan Seyfi Üstün in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 68th minute Erhan Timurkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Pena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erhan Timurkan might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Pena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Erhan Timurkan ran back to his position shaking his head. Erhan Timurkan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Pena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Sydney Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erhan Timurkan in the 75th minute of the match. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz made a substitution. Zbyszko Pryla replaced Donato Palladino. H E P T A N were awarded a corner in the 78th minute after Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aytuğ Nezihi took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Aytuğ Nezihi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sydney Pena quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 79 played minutes Cuiavia Bydgoszcz got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Marczyniec. But to his dismay, Erhan Timurkan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 87 minutes into the match, Ali Orhan Yalvaç had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sydney Pena. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ali Orhan Yalvaç was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 91 minutes into the game, Erhan Timurkan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Sydney Pena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because H E P T A N had won, even though Cuiavia Bydgoszcz had held more of the ball.
