In the 3rd match minute, FC Montana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Montana to maneuver through the defense. After 6 minutes of play, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osman Tahir was left in no man's land by his defense there! Osman Tahir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Milian in the 12th minute of play. Aquiles Oihenarte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umur Ökten went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk in the 22nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Aquiles Oihenarte got control of the ball when Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Zafer Yoruç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 29 minutes, Dino Montana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Montana and the Club Atlético Atlanta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aquiles Oihenarte came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Montana's Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk. But to his dismay, Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. 46 minutes into the game, Sancar Sair recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aquiles Oihenarte. Sancar Sair showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Milian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peyami Hizanlı in the 52nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Aquiles Oihenarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquiles Oihenarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk in the 56th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, FC Montana's Dino Montana tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 67th minute, Mehmet Özçin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aquiles Oihenarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Umur Ökten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Aquiles Oihenarte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the game, FC Montana's Arda Baybars Sarısaltuk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aquiles Oihenarte made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. In the 82nd minute, Anacleto Admon fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 88th minute, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pedro Rojelio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Osman Tahir. Osman Tahir yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 7-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Rojelio got free with Osman Tahir in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arif Memduh Serol kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. After 95 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Salvador Honesto. After recieving a nice pass, FC Montana's Dino Montana tried to score from far away in the 96th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Club Atlético Atlanta's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
