The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tito Montaño made in the 3rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Konstantinos Kroustallis. After 7 minutes of play, Gyál United's Walmir Breckenfeld made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincent Aalberts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Horaţiu Petran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Hélder Fonseca received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Horaţiu Petran came out and tried to block the shot, but Hélder Fonseca slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 11th minute. The supporters of Gyál United booed when CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Breckenfeld came free, but Vincent Aalberts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Horaţiu Petran breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute Hélder Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Petran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ booed when Gyál United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tito Montaño didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes in the game, Hélder Fonseca fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Horaţiu Petran having to interfere. With a little luck, Gyál United's Horaţiu Petran got control of the ball when Hélder Fonseca tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hélder Fonseca made a kick off. Vincent Aalberts made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Walmir Breckenfeld sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Hélder Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hélder Fonseca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 65 played minutes, Gyál United's Deivid Trigo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vincent Aalberts came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gyál United reached it. The supporters of Gyál United booed when CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Regis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Despite this Horaţiu Petran quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 92 minutes into the match, CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's goalkeeper Vincent Aalberts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Konstantinos Kroustallis. When the match clock showed 92 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Konstantinos Kroustallis sped through CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vincent Aalberts. Gyál United played a much better game than CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ and deserved their victory. The CRISTOBAL TERRANOVA Ψ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
