The audience thought a goal was coming when Lukas Blaauwgeers got free with Thom Threepwood in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Jairo Malheiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Foeke Wisgerhof was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Gazanfer Kelim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 26 minutes on the clock, Tubagus Sumampouw commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Tubagus Sumampouw hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Foeke Wisgerhof made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Malheiro in the 29th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
