Edelmiro Veronica was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Primitivo Jeraldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Wallin, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. In the 13th minute, Rodrigo Bautista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rodrigo Bautista might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edelmiro Veronica. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodrigo Bautista ran back to his position shaking his head. Edelmiro Veronica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 18th minute of the match. Edelmiro Veronica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigo Bautista in the 20th minute of play. With an all-out effort, ToCoTaN FC's Primitivo Jeraldo threw himself towards the right post 24 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnulfo Beltran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as ToCoTaN FC's Simon Wallin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Primitivo Jeraldo. That made the score 1-2 after 32 minutes of play. Arnulfo Beltran made in the 39th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Juan Peron. In the 42nd minute, Rodrigo Bautista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Veronica was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 46th minute, Arnulfo Beltran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Bautista in the 47th minute of play forced ToCoTaN FC's goalkeeper Edelmiro Veronica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Bautista made the kick off in the second half. Palermo AFC's Primitivo Jeraldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vic Wijnants in the 51st minute of play. ToCoTaN FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rodrigo Bautista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5.
