Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. François-Xavier Dionnet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Rozarius in the 3rd minute of play. Ruquense FC's François-Xavier Dionnet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Izel in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's Enrique Rozarius sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that François-Xavier Dionnet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Franco Moscatelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvano Bide in the 13th minute of the match. Ruquense FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leopoldo Tonio in the 14th minute. The corner ended in Leopoldo Tonio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli did a great save. In the 17th minute, Enrique Rozarius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. François-Xavier Dionnet was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Silvano Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Moscatelli having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Ruquense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gilberto Izel came free, but François-Xavier Dionnet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Enrique Rozarius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. La Scaloneta's Franco Moscatelli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Fernandez in the 29th minute of play. François-Xavier Dionnet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Rozarius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ruquense FC's Basilio Fernandez in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Scaloneta's goalie prevented a goal. François-Xavier Dionnet came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by La Scaloneta's Gilberto Izel. But to his dismay, Gilberto Izel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 44 played minutes La Scaloneta got a freekick which was hit by Polat Aranda. The Ruquense FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. La Scaloneta were winning 0-2.

Gilberto Izel might have been able to make a better finish in the 50th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over François-Xavier Dionnet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Izel ran back to his position shaking his head. La Scaloneta were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Ruquense FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Enrique Rozarius took the corner. Polat Aranda was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 56th match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Polat Aranda to maneuver through the defense. Franco Moscatelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basilio Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Silvano Bide's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Moscatelli was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Enrique Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but François-Xavier Dionnet made a huge save. François-Xavier Dionnet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Franco Moscatelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvano Bide's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. François-Xavier Dionnet was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Gilberto Izel capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gilberto Izel really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Ruquense FC made a substitution. Ladislao Lehen replaced Miroslaw Mielak. The audience thought a goal was coming when Polat Aranda got free with François-Xavier Dionnet in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Lehen in the 93rd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Ruquense FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
