Damiano Mucci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulrico Herzog in the 5th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Black Mount™'s Zeng Bin Hui sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Zeng Bin Hui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeng Bin Hui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renan Mendes having to interfere. If Jimmy Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Damiano Mucci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leysus Oktavianus in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Aaron Tello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Black Mount™'s Damiano Mucci was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th match minute, Matanza and Steelers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Lucas to maneuver through the defense. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeng Bin Hui in the 48th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulrico Herzog was the one to do the kick off.
