A collision led to Los Spurs getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Jan Ohmer hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Los Spurs's goal looked a bit too open when Reiner Fallas came free, but Roland Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Waut Van Der Meeren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrick Klimbacher in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Nicu Vornicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Hock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leon Horsky had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roland Hock took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reiner Fallas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 33 minutes into the match, Los Spurs's goal looked a bit too open when Nicu Vornicu came free, but Roland Hock reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Anversa Club booed when Los Spurs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Klimbacher didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anversa Club's Mickael De Winter got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Waut Van Der Meeren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Gotthard's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute Winarto Songgonau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roland Hock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Roland Hock was a little too slow when Orvar Malmberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 0-1. 69 minutes into the match, Los Spurs's goalkeeper Roland Hock had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicu Vornicu. Patrick Klimbacher struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Waut Van Der Meeren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Spurs. Orvar Malmberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Hock having to interfere. In the 76thth minute of the game Jan Gotthard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anversa Club's Waut Van Der Meeren was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nestor Cruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Roland Hock made a huge save. Jan Gotthard hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match.
