With a left leg Tom Are saved Harku Devils from getting behind. 0-3 became the score in the 30th minute when Robbe Stroobans elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tom Are made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Baekelandt in the 32nd minute of play. Tom Are took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeroen Maenhout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliver Raag hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Robbe Stroobans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tom Are came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jeroen Maenhout. But to his dismay, Jeroen Maenhout quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. The Harku Devils players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Avelgem ad. Schelde were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Riivo Mustikas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jeroen Maenhout who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 53rdth minute tested the skills of Tom Are when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Jeroen Maenhout dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reinaert Huyghebaert in the 60th minute of play forced Harku Devils's goalkeeper Tom Are to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Harku Devils defense, Benedict Peeters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tom Are. The Harku Devils fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tom Are should have stopped the shot. Tom Are tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Jaan Niilo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Harku Devils's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Avelgem ad. Schelde the free kick. After 73 played minutes Harku Devils got a freekick which was hit by Jaan Niilo. 82 minutes into the game, Raymond Vrankx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avelgem ad. Schelde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Harku Devils the free kick. After a rather tough play, Avelgem ad. Schelde's Raymond Vrankx got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Harku Devils's Riivo Mustikas got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tom Are showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbe Stroobans, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Reinaert Huyghebaert could shoot a difficult shot in the 88th minute, which Tom Are however easily saved by the left post.
