When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Gustavo Mannie put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Guy Davis. Yu Cheng Jing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Guy Davis made a huge save. With a little luck, Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis got control of the ball when Yu Cheng Jing tried to sneak it across the goal line. Guy Davis came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzales Chaves FC's Yu Cheng Jing. But to his dismay, Yu Cheng Jing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dante Peruanton in the 21st minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Yu Cheng Jing notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Holy Cross Mountains's Guy Davis. Guy Davis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Guy Davis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Mannie in the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Gonzales Chaves FC's Yu Cheng Jing dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Peter Steadman put in a rough tackle. Peter Steadman hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Holy Cross Mountains's zone, Gustavo Mannie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Davis came out of the goal and Gustavo Mannie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute, Marcelino Granados ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guy Davis was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Ildefonso Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horea Decuseară in the 37th minute of the match. Yu Cheng Jing's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Guy Davis firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Holy Cross Mountains's Horea Decuseară got a free kick in the 40th minute. The supporters of Gonzales Chaves FC booed when Holy Cross Mountains was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horea Decuseară didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 47th minute Dante Peruanton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yu Cheng Jing made a kick off. In the 51st minute Marcelino Granados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yu Cheng Jing, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 55 played minutes Holy Cross Mountains got a freekick which was hit by Horea Decuseară. Guy Davis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yu Cheng Jing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Holy Cross Mountains's Horea Decuseară got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Dante Peruanton scored 7-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guy Davis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Yu Cheng Jing had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Guy Davis. Holy Cross Mountains's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yu Cheng Jing was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gustavo Mannie in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guy Davis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guy Davis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Granados, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Guy Davis came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Gonzales Chaves FC's Yu Cheng Jing. But to his dismay, Yu Cheng Jing quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Ildefonso Louis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 柯翔峰, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After some careless play in the Holy Cross Mountains defense, Uriel Terciero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guy Davis. The Holy Cross Mountains fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guy Davis should have stopped the shot. Uriel Terciero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute Yu Cheng Jing shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guy Davis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Uriel Terciero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Holy Cross Mountains's goal looked a bit too open when Filiberto Aznar came free, but Guy Davis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
