Mitch Lauwers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Nordal in the 7th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joonatan Van Landewijck couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Jasper Rosario dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vihren Dandov, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Nordal in the 18th minute of play forced Minion Mim's goalkeeper Mitch Lauwers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Joonatan Van Landewijck had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vihren Dandov. Swedish Airline Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joonatan Van Landewijck was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joonatan Van Landewijck got free with Vihren Dandov in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Joonatan Van Landewijck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Swedish Airline Team's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Roofhoof came free, but Vihren Dandov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Minion Mim's Joonatan Van Landewijck made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vihren Dandov was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vihren Dandov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Will Wipp in the 43rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Nordal to make the kick off. The supporters of Swedish Airline Team booed when Minion Mim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joonatan Van Landewijck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rdth minute of the game Peter Roofhoof who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Swedish Airline Team's Vihren Dandov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute of the match Minion Mim got a corner. Swedish Airline Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jasper Rosario ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Will Wipp got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vihren Dandov quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Minion Mim were awarded a corner in the 56th minute after Swedish Airline Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jasper Rosario took the corner. Vihren Dandov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Roofhoof in the 57th minute of play. Minion Mim's Mitch Lauwers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Rang in the 58th minute of play. Gösta Linds short, quick shot in the 61stth minute got Mitch Lauwers to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 61 minutes into the game, Gösta Lind lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Mitch Lauwers. Joonatan Van Landewijck hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Vihren Dandov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 84 minutes, Peter Roofhoof managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minion Mim's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peter Roofhoof was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vihren Dandov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joonatan Van Landewijck went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. Vihren Dandov came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Minion Mim's Peter Roofhoof. But to his dismay, Peter Roofhoof quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. In the 96th match minute, Swedish Airline Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Uggstedt to maneuver through the defense. 97 minutes into the match, Minion Mim's Jasper Rosario broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.
