Edmund Förster blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Manni having to make a save. Edmund Förster recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Modesto Uxio came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Luna Roja AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Uxio couldn't finish the play. Albert Miersch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Camilo Suero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With 27 minutes on the clock, Christof Holzmann commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 29th minute, where Luna Roja AFC:s Amado Joanes tricked SV Bauar Köln:s Peter Huppertz with a difficult ball by the left post. 32 minutes into the game, Georg Priebsch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SV Bauar Köln's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Luna Roja AFC the free kick. In the 35th minute, Edmund Förster left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bauar Köln fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 38th minute, Edmund Förster made a precise shot to the right of Ariel Manni. Luna Roja AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With a little luck, SV Bauar Köln's Peter Huppertz got control of the ball when Camilo Suero tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Luna Roja AFC's Camilo Suero slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Peter Huppertz. That made the score 2-2 after 47 minutes of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Suero was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the SV Bauar Köln defense, Modesto Uxio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Peter Huppertz. The SV Bauar Köln fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Peter Huppertz should have stopped the shot. Edmund Förster struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ariel Manni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bauar Köln. Peter Huppertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Uxio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute Camilo Suero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Huppertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luna Roja AFC's Ariel Manni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Luna Roja AFC from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Peter Huppertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camilo Suero, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmund Förster got free with Ariel Manni in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Rene Nataniel fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Luna Roja AFC's protests and gave Rene Nataniel a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Luna Roja AFC getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Rene Nataniel hit a great ball. If Edmund Förster had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Luna Roja AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while SV Bauar Köln had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
