A collision led to ManchesterCity getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jácint Dömötör hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the match, ManchesterCity's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Meirelles came free, but Adrián Bihari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Musquiada's Ronaldinho Aguiar got control of the ball when Gábor Peterdy tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Musquiada booed when ManchesterCity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jácint Dömötör didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gábor Peterdy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ronaldinho Aguiar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Gyula Honti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Favoretto in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adrián Bihari saved ManchesterCity from getting behind. Adrián Bihari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laerte Favoretto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ManchesterCity getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Jácint Dömötör hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Musquiada's goal looked a bit too open when Mátyás Nagy came free, but Ronaldinho Aguiar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agostinho Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37thth minute of the game Agostinho Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ManchesterCity's Adrián Bihari was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 38 played minutes ManchesterCity got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Vermes. If Gábor Peterdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gábor Peterdy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ronaldinho Aguiar having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Agostinho Meirelles made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Musquiada's Agostinho Meirelles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrián Bihari. That made the score 0-1 after 52 minutes of play. Ronaldinho Aguiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mátyás Nagy's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. When Gyula Honti came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the ManchesterCity fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gyula Honti couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Musquiada's Rafael Peixoto got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Musquiada's zone, Gábor Peterdy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldinho Aguiar came out of the goal and Gábor Peterdy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ronaldinho Aguiar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mátyás Nagy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes ManchesterCity got a freekick which was hit by Zsolt Vermes. Agostinho Meirelles let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 73rd minute shot 0-2 at rihgt post. Agostinho Meirelles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Adrián Bihari made a huge save. Jácint Dömötör kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Musquiada got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Favoretto. Agostinho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrián Bihari having to interfere. ManchesterCity's Adrián Bihari proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save ManchesterCity from getting a goal against them. Gábor Peterdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Ronaldinho Aguiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes, Agostinho Meirelles made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. ManchesterCity's Adrián Bihari tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute, Jácint Dömötör hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cleiton Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Musquiada's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
