After a rather tough play, Rata de alcantarilla's Raul Havier got a free kick in the 6th minute. Adan Cuartio scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Catarino Ferreira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 12th minute Justino Bidari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Catarino Ferreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Justino Bidari's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Catarino Ferreira was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Encourados's Teodoro Quental got a free kick in the 15th minute. Catarino Ferreira came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Rata de alcantarilla's Justino Bidari. But to his dismay, Justino Bidari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Encourados getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Altino Damásio hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Encourados's zone, Justino Bidari stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Catarino Ferreira came out of the goal and Justino Bidari tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Bidari took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Catarino Ferreira. Catarino Ferreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After 30 played minutes Rata de alcantarilla got a freekick which was hit by Paolo Jacindo. Altino Damásio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gaudencio Gaitan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Gaudencio Gaitan managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Encourados's Vítor Mesquita fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Justino Bidari came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Rata de alcantarilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Bidari couldn't finish the play. Catarino Ferreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Justino Bidari in the 37th minute of play. Justino Bidari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gaudencio Gaitan came out of the goal and Vítor Mesquita tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when Justino Bidari made the kick off in the second half. Adan Cuartio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Catarino Ferreira skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Encourados getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Albertino Figueiredo hit a great ball. Rata de alcantarilla's Gaudencio Gaitan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vítor Mesquita in the 56th minute of play. Justino Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Ferreira having to interfere. In the 62nd play minute Adan Cuartio came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Catarino Ferreira. 0-4. In the 66th minute Vítor Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaudencio Gaitan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, Encourados's Vítor Mesquita made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gaudencio Gaitan was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ignacio Luar fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rata de alcantarilla's protests and gave Ignacio Luar a yellow card for diving instead. After 79 played minutes Rata de alcantarilla got a freekick which was hit by Ignacio Luar. In the 80th minute, Vítor Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Justino Bidari was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Justino Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Bidari blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Catarino Ferreira having to make a save. Justino Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Catarino Ferreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rata de alcantarilla walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
