After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Gábor Peterdy managed to get in a good position for a shot. ManchesterCity's supporters rose to their feet, but Gábor Peterdy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the game, Modesto Uxio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Adrián Bihari was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of ManchesterCity booed when Luna Roja AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Modesto Uxio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luna Roja AFC's Ariel Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mátyás Nagy in the 22nd minute of play. Jácint Dömötör kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Modesto Uxio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Adrián Bihari when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ariel Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gábor Peterdy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Márton Czakó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rene Nataniel's late challenge caught a ManchesterCity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Camilo Suero made a kick off. Gábor Peterdy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amado Joanes's late challenge caught a ManchesterCity's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amado Joanes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th match minute, Luna Roja AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Joanes to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute Jácint Dömötör managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Adrián Bihari didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Luna Roja AFC's Camilo Suero shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-1 in the ordered_time% minute. 90 minutes into the match, Luna Roja AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Manni had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gábor Peterdy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mátyás Nagy in the 91st minute of play forced Luna Roja AFC's goalkeeper Ariel Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Luna Roja AFC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
