Aysan Öznur who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ivan Mangope when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Edries Liau scored 1-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Nedim Özdeş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 88 minutes, Nejat Alp Elmacı mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ERZURUM SPOR and the Springbok players grew even worse after the yellow card. The ERZURUM SPOR players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
