Ponce Masseda was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 22 minutes, Baiardo Reguera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alpino City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baiardo Reguera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alpino City's Baiardo Reguera got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Peter Huppertz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baiardo Reguera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arne Fabry struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ponce Masseda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Bauar Köln. Peter Huppertz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reno Revillas, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes SV Bauar Köln got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Marzok. Reno Revillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Reno Revillas was the one to do the kick off. Alpino City's Ponce Masseda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Götz Jäger in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to SV Bauar Köln getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Götz Jäger hit a great ball. Peter Huppertz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baiardo Reguera in the 61st minute. In the 65th minute, Cordarius Quexada hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albert Miersch in the 66th minute of play forced Alpino City's goalkeeper Ponce Masseda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baiardo Reguera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute, Christof Holzmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baiardo Reguera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 73rdth minute tested the skills of Peter Huppertz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind SV Bauar Köln's goalkeeper Peter Huppertz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Alpino City's goal looked a bit too open when Arne Fabry came free, but Ponce Masseda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 93rd minute by Baiardo Reguera got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.
