After 7 played minutes Luna Roja AFC got a freekick which was hit by Modesto Uxio. After a rather tough play, Luna Roja AFC's Marcelino Jerrald got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 12thth minute of the game Camilo Suero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springbok's Ivan Mangope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Johann Stoltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 17 minutes of play, Luna Roja AFC's Modesto Uxio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Mangope was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ermegildo Isadore during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 25th minute, Edries Liau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edries Liau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30thth minute of the game Modesto Uxio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Springbok's Ivan Mangope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Nataniel during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Springbok booed when Luna Roja AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rene Nataniel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Mangope didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcelino Jerrald went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Edries Liau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Manni having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Springbok's zone, Modesto Uxio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Mangope came out of the goal and Modesto Uxio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Samuel Komani ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ariel Manni was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
The wind increased when Edries Liau made the kick off in the second half. Luna Roja AFC's Modesto Uxio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edries Liau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Luna Roja AFC's Marcelino Jerrald got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Samuel Komani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edries Liau blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ariel Manni having to make a save. The Springbok fans' excitement grew in the 61st match minute when Springbok's Edries Liau looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 66th minute, Samuel Komani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Springbok fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. If Samuel Komani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Mangope showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Suero in the 70th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Samuel Komani sped through Luna Roja AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ariel Manni. In the 77th minute Edries Liau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 80th minute Luna Roja AFC were awarded a corner. Amado Joanes went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Luna Roja AFC's corner Amado Joanes fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ivan Mangope quite easily take care of the ball. Edries Liau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Edries Liau came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Springbok fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edries Liau couldn't finish the play. Luna Roja AFC's Ariel Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edries Liau in the 97th minute of play. Springbok's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
