The audience was convinced that Gábor Peterdy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ahmet Nedim Özdeş was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Adrián Bihari successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 17th minute, Zsolt Vermes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as ERZURUM SPOR's Serhan Kayrahan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adrián Bihari. That made the score 1-0 after 18 minutes of play. 23 minutes into the match, ManchesterCity's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Kayrahan came free, but Adrián Bihari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ManchesterCity's Gábor Peterdy got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute Mátyás Nagy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Nedim Özdeş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Serhan Kayrahan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adrián Bihari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhan Kayrahan in the 40th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mátyás Nagy in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Nedim Özdeş prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aysan Öznur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mátyás Nagy was the one to do the kick off. ERZURUM SPOR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Gábor Peterdy scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Nedim Özdeş, making the score, 1-1. Mátyás Nagy did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Ahmet Nedim Özdeş 59 minutes into the match. Gábor Peterdy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Nedim Özdeş having to interfere. After 70 played minutes ManchesterCity got a freekick which was hit by Jácint Dömötör. Aysan Öznur charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aysan Öznur the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aysan Öznur hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gábor Peterdy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of ManchesterCity booed when ERZURUM SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aysan Öznur didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, ManchesterCity's goal looked a bit too open when Serhan Kayrahan came free, but Adrián Bihari reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adrián Bihari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Kayrahan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zsolt Vermes kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute of the match Fetih Sudi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrián Bihari skillfully saved the ball. 1-3 became the score in the 91st minute when Mátyás Nagy elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhan Kayrahan in the 96th minute of play forced ManchesterCity's goalkeeper Adrián Bihari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ManchesterCity played a much better game than ERZURUM SPOR and deserved their victory. The ERZURUM SPOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
