The Richmond City fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 20th minute of the match Fabio Melendez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adrián Bihari showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adrián Bihari made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramon Barragan in the 22nd minute of play. Milton Bustamante could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Adrián Bihari made a huge save. ManchesterCity were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Richmond City to leave the ground with a draw.
