Jairo Hanni kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The supporters of Springbok booed when ELAUBE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lino Lucado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Mangope made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Freddy Izel sent off a good shot on target. Ivan Mangope didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. ELAUBE's Dionisio Firmo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 28th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Springbok. Mario Ferrando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edries Liau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ELAUBE getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Florencio Barea hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Thokozani in the 38th minute of play forced ELAUBE's goalkeeper Mario Ferrando to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pascual Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Freddy Izel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ivan Mangope tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pascual Hever in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Mangope prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bernard Thokozani during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After 52 played minutes ELAUBE got a freekick which was hit by Florencio Barea. After a defensive mix-up in ELAUBE's zone, Samuel Komani stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Ferrando came out of the goal and Samuel Komani tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Springbok's Ivan Mangope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Hever in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Pascual Hever ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ivan Mangope was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. If Pascual Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes ELAUBE got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Oriche. 69 minutes into the game, ELAUBE's Faustino Servando nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ivan Mangope made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 72nd minute Pascual Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Mangope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 74 minutes, Camilo Oriche managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ELAUBE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Camilo Oriche was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Hibai struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Ivan Mangope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELAUBE. A collision led to Springbok getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Albert Sibeko hit a great ball. In the 78th minute, Camilo Oriche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. ELAUBE's defense didn't have a chance, in the 81st minute, when Samuel Komani scored to the left of an out of position Mario Ferrando, making the score, 3-1. In the 88th minute Johann Stoltz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ivan Mangope stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascual Hever's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Patricio Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
