Evaristo Urtungo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nejat Alp Elmacı, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Aysan Öznur came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Urtungo could save by the left post. A collision led to ERZURUM SPOR getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Esen Pakkan hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the match, Joaquin Havier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Nedim Özdeş. ERZURUM SPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Havier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Maxin in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Shadow AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Urtungo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aysan Öznur. The supporters of ERZURUM SPOR booed when Shadow AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godofredo Bizen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute, Battal Seyyit Uyun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evaristo Urtungo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Battal Seyyit Uyun showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. When Kerem Ongut fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ERZURUM SPOR's protests and gave Kerem Ongut a yellow card for diving instead. Joaquin Havier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. The Shadow AFC fans' excitement grew in the 48th match minute when Shadow AFC's Joaquin Havier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The ERZURUM SPOR players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Shadow AFC were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Serhan Kayrahan was the one to do the kick off. Evaristo Urtungo came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by ERZURUM SPOR's Aysan Öznur. But to his dismay, Aysan Öznur quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Hermengildo Maxin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hermengildo Maxin really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. Salvador Lekubegi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhan Kayrahan in the 66th minute of play forced Shadow AFC's goalkeeper Evaristo Urtungo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 75 minutes into the game, Godofredo Bizen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shadow AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ERZURUM SPOR the free kick. Evaristo Urtungo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serhan Kayrahan in the 90th minute of play. When Shadow AFC's Hermengildo Maxin in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ERZURUM SPOR's goalie prevented a goal. Joaquin Havier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 98thth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Nedim Özdeş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Shadow AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shadow AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
