Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) ELAUBE's Pascual Hever started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Yannik Pöggeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, ELAUBE's goalkeeper Mario Ferrando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorsten Muring. 16 minutes into the match, Arne Fabry had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mario Ferrando. ELAUBE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arne Fabry was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Pascual Hever scored 2-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Huppertz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pascual Hever struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Peter Huppertz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ELAUBE. Efrain Enekoitz scored 2-2 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Peter Huppertz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 38th match minute, ELAUBE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Barea to maneuver through the defense. After 41 minutes of play, ELAUBE's Efrain Enekoitz made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peter Huppertz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lino Lucado kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. SV Bauar Köln's Christof Holzmann got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute Yannik Pöggeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Ferrando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The SV Bauar Köln players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ELAUBE were winning 2-3.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yannik Pöggeler stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Pascual Hever managed to get in a good position for a shot. ELAUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Pascual Hever was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peter Huppertz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 53rd minute, ELAUBE's Efrain Enekoitz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Peter Huppertz. Peter Huppertz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. ELAUBE's Pascual Hever was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 56th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 61 minutes into the match, SV Bauar Köln's goalkeeper Peter Huppertz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddy Izel. ELAUBE's Efrain Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of ELAUBE booed when SV Bauar Köln was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Ceylan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peter Huppertz was a little too slow when Pascual Hever got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 2-6. Mario Ferrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arne Fabry in the 71st minute of the match. Mario Ferrando came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by SV Bauar Köln's Yannik Pöggeler. But to his dismay, Yannik Pöggeler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-6. In the 75th minute, Kurt Marzok left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SV Bauar Köln fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-6. In the 80th minute, Kurt Marzok hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in SV Bauar Köln's zone, Efrain Enekoitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peter Huppertz came out of the goal and Efrain Enekoitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 86th minute Pascual Hever shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Huppertz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, SV Bauar Köln's goal looked a bit too open when Efrain Enekoitz came free, but Peter Huppertz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the ELAUBE defense, Götz Jäger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Ferrando. The ELAUBE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Ferrando should have stopped the shot. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ELAUBE eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
