In the 9th minute Kemalettin Özhan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrián Bihari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ManchesterCity's Gábor Peterdy got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adrián Bihari didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fetih Sudi went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Esen Pakkan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Adrián Bihari. ManchesterCity's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Adrián Bihari showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Battal Seyyit Uyun, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Gábor Peterdy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 29th minute. ManchesterCity's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After a rather tough play, ManchesterCity's Jácint Dömötör got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Gábor Peterdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ERZURUM SPOR's Battal Seyyit Uyun got a free kick in the 36th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mátyás Nagy in the 38th minute of play forced ERZURUM SPOR's goalkeeper Ahmet Nedim Özdeş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mátyás Nagy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Ahmet Nedim Özdeş made a huge save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Adrián Bihari took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kemalettin Özhan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gábor Peterdy struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ManchesterCity. Márton Czakó hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. If Gábor Peterdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ManchesterCity's Adrián Bihari played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kemalettin Özhan in the 76th minute of play. If Gábor Peterdy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by ManchesterCity's Gábor Peterdy. But to his dismay, Gábor Peterdy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After a defensive mix-up in ERZURUM SPOR's zone, Gábor Peterdy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nedim Özdeş came out of the goal and Gábor Peterdy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 85 minutes into the game, Serhan Kayrahan lined in a short shot 1-4 behind a frustrated Adrián Bihari. Kemalettin Özhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Adrián Bihari tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, ManchesterCity was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kálmán Torma to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, ManchesterCity's Adrián Bihari got control of the ball when Serhan Kayrahan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched ERZURUM SPOR eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
