Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Camilo Suero kicked off to start the match. Modesto Uxio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Catarino Ferreira having to interfere. If Altino Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th match minute, Luna Roja AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Nataniel to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Luna Roja AFC's zone, Albertino Figueiredo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariel Manni came out of the goal and Albertino Figueiredo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Albertino Figueiredo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Manni saved Luna Roja AFC from getting behind. Amado Joanes hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 17thth minute of the game Albertino Figueiredo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luna Roja AFC's Ariel Manni was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Catarino Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Modesto Uxio sent off a good shot on target. Marcelino Jerrald kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. When Altino Damásio came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Encourados fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Altino Damásio couldn't finish the play. If Rubim Colaço had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luna Roja AFC's Ariel Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albertino Figueiredo in the 28th minute of play. If Altino Damásio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Encourados's goalkeeper Catarino Ferreira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Uxio. 34 minutes into the game, Faustino Valentine was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luna Roja AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Encourados the free kick. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Luna Roja AFC! Lucas Queiroga kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Albertino Figueiredo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ariel Manni was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Albertino Figueiredo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Albertino Figueiredo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Ariel Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albertino Figueiredo in the 56th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Encourados's Albertino Figueiredo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ariel Manni. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. Altino Damásio might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ariel Manni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Altino Damásio ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altino Damásio got free with Ariel Manni in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Altino Damásio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 73 minutes, Ariel Manni successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Catarino Ferreira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Suero in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Luna Roja AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Albertino Figueiredo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camilo Suero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Albertino Figueiredo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Encourados's supporters rose to their feet, but Albertino Figueiredo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ariel Manni breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Altino Damásio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ariel Manni made a huge save. Altino Damásio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85 minutes, Rene Nataniel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Luna Roja AFC and the Encourados players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, Rene Nataniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altino Damásio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ariel Manni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Albertino Figueiredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Encourados left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Luna Roja AFC.
