Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0)
Er Håland made the kick off and thus started the match. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Er Håland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Er Håland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. U21 Poland's Karol Andrzejewski quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damian Hodas, made in the 12th minute of the game. 13 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Er Håland came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Er Håland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute, Damian Hodas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Zygmunt Bielejewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michel Batistuta in the 24th minute. STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gigi Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Er Håland in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roman Matai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Er Håland in the 31st minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Zdzislaw Rydzewski hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the game, U21 Poland's Er Håland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Roman Matai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 48th minute Er Håland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The STAL ST WOLA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. U21 Poland were winning 0-2.

Wiktor Hodyl struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Roman Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Poland. After 65 minutes, Kamilo Glik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the U21 Poland and the STAL ST WOLA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kamilo Glik hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. The supporters of STAL ST WOLA booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamilo Glik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Matai came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by U21 Poland's Radowit Bycofski. But to his dismay, Radowit Bycofski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Radowit Bycofski spun around in front of the goal 72 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of STAL ST WOLA's goal. 75 minutes into the match, Radowit Bycofski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Matai. STAL ST WOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Radowit Bycofski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. 79 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Radowit Bycofski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roman Matai narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by STAL ST WOLA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kamilo Glik was slow to take the kick. During this time U21 Poland's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Zbigniew Boniek got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roman Matai quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 84th minute of play forced U21 Poland's goalkeeper Gigi Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 88 minutes into the game, Radowit Bycofski recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roman Matai. Radowit Bycofski showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. STAL ST WOLA made a substitution. Patryk Glogowski replaced Michel Batistuta. U21 Poland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
