Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Platense from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Axel Ree in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruperto Rainerio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Monks in Robes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Platense the free kick.
