Martin Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chiquinho Pereira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Chiquinho Pereira came free, but Martin Leheren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talleres de Escalada's goalkeeper Martin Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zé Gato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Argider, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kajetan Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. SITIO CITY's attentive Kajetan Paulista managed to snatch the ball when Jonny Saran made a throw-in in the 24th minute of the game. Jonny Saran made in the 28th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SITIO CITY's Rubim Jordão. Kajetan Paulista kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Carlos Garcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Leheren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Martin Leheren was out of position in the 33 minute of play, and Carlos Garcia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Carlos Garcia really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. In the 38th minute, Rigoberto Argider left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Talleres de Escalada fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Rigoberto Argider made the kick off in the second half. In the 55thth minute of the game Rigoberto Argider who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SITIO CITY's Zé Gato was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Gato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Argider in the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes had been played when some careless play by SITIO CITY's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Thibault Moon was slow to take the kick. During this time Talleres de Escalada's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Talleres de Escalada's Rigoberto Argider to fire away a dangerous shot which Zé Gato despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Talleres de Escalada's Rigoberto Argider got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. SITIO CITY made a substitution. The referee ignored SITIO CITY's protests and gave Adolfo Pimenta a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the match, SITIO CITY's Luís Carvalho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Leheren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 94 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Thibault Moon. After a defensive mix-up in Talleres de Escalada's zone, Fabio Onbera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Leheren came out of the goal and Fabio Onbera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Talleres de Escalada's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
