Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) In the 4th minute, Pablo Bermudez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Buenaventura FC's Toro Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ralph Zinsli in the 6th minute of play. The supporters of U21 Liechtenstein booed when Buenaventura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hans-Adam Rohrer came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the U21 Liechtenstein fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hans-Adam Rohrer couldn't finish the play. Toro Martínez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Batliner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jairo de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Alfons Telic made a huge save. U21 Liechtenstein's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Roger Martinez scored to the left of an out of position Alfons Telic, making the score, 1-0. Toro Martínez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Batliner in the 26th minute of play. Toro Martínez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Batliner in the 29th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hans-Adam Rohrer came free, but Toro Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, U21 Liechtenstein's goalkeeper Alfons Telic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jairo de Azevedo. 34 minutes into the match, Buenaventura FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Batliner came free, but Toro Martínez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Lucas Batliner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toro Martínez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Lucas Batliner had several of the Buenaventura FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 65 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Toro Martínez as he didn't even see the shot coming. Julien Marxer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Toro Martínez made a huge save. Buenaventura FC's Toro Martínez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Batliner in the 70th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Julien Marxer notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Toro Martínez. Toro Martínez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Batliner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Toro Martínez. That made the score 1-4 in the 79 minute of play. Ralph Gantenbein scored 1-5 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Toro Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dominik Ritter kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Buenaventura FC's Alberto Aizprua got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched U21 Liechtenstein eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
