The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ALIANZA 1901's Ruy Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Lamonica in the 4th minute of play. Fabrício Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richie Ason in the 6th minute of the match. Ruy Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Guedes, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goalkeeper Fabrício Negri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richie Ason. Fabrício Negri made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brais Lahoz in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute ALIANZA 1901 were awarded a corner. Nazario Ispuzua went to the cornerflag to take it. Ruy Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 22nd minute of the match. Fabrício Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Tomasini in the 27th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Dinamo Colorado got a freekick which was hit by Dorian Gerber. In the 36th minute, Brais Lahoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was a well-played corner which Moisés de Azevedo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 40 minutes into the match, ALIANZA 1901's goal looked a bit too open when Paulinho Guedes came free, but Ruy Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ruy Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Guedes in the 43rd minute of play. After 45 minutes ALIANZA 1901's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Nelson Pinho who took care of the corner kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luis Escobar was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Paulinho Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dinamo Colorado's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulinho Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruy Berger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruy Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davi Lamonica in the 58th minute of the match. In the 63rd minute, Cristian Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Dinamo Colorado's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Escobar came free, but Fabrício Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ALIANZA 1901 booed when Dinamo Colorado was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davi Lamonica didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Tomasini received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Fabrício Negri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute Richie Ason shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruy Berger had great luck who in the 83rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Davi Lamonica from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Dinamo Colorado made a substitution. Cezary Laba replaced Paulinho Guedes. After taking down the ball on Dinamo Colorado's corner Nelson Pinho fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ruy Berger quite easily take care of the ball. When Cezary Laba came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Dinamo Colorado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezary Laba couldn't finish the play. After 91 played minutes ALIANZA 1901 got a freekick which was hit by Josepe Gamiz. Ruy Berger didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dinamo Colorado eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
