Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alfredas Nenortas started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro got control of the ball when Jullian Elens tried to sneak it across the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Zhidelyay's goal looked a bit too open when Renato Tapia came free, but Drąsutis Navickas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pepe Toxeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Þórlaugur Vignisson, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Drąsutis Navickas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renato Tapia in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Zhidelyay booed when Real Club Celta de Vigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renato Tapia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Pepe Toxeiro successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 32nd minute Virgilijus Tarvydas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Toxeiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oscar Valcarcel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Drąsutis Navickas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Real Club Celta de Vigo's Pepe Toxeiro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Real Club Celta de Vigo from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Alfredas Nenortas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zhidelyay's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredas Nenortas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Toxeiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Þórlaugur Vignisson got free with Pepe Toxeiro in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute, Renato Tapia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Real Club Celta de Vigo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Virgilijus Tarvydas in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pepe Toxeiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renato Tapia to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Real Club Celta de Vigo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. In the 66th minute, Guillermo Marin made a precise shot to the right of Drąsutis Navickas. Zhidelyay's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Zhidelyay made a substitution. Petras Bračas replaced Jullian Elens. Oscar Valcarcel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Drąsutis Navickas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Zhidelyay's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Arias came free, but Drąsutis Navickas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
