FC SZAFIRY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SOUTH THUNDER the free kick. In the 4th minute, Radowit Gdaniec hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Lucila during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of FC SZAFIRY booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Lucila didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 13 minutes of play, FC SZAFIRY's Jacek Koprowski made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruno Balendin was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 18th minute, Arturo Acevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Feliks Wielkopolski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After 26 minutes of play, SOUTH THUNDER's Isidoro Godoy made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Feliks Wielkopolski was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 minutes, Arnaldo Theodore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SOUTH THUNDER and the FC SZAFIRY players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arnaldo Theodore hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the game, FC SZAFIRY's Karol Pachucki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bruno Balendin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The supporters of FC SZAFIRY booed when SOUTH THUNDER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santiago Tome didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arturo Acevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Igor Pio's late challenge caught a FC SZAFIRY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Pio helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to SOUTH THUNDER getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Igor Pio hit a great ball. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Godoy in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 68 minutes, Radowit Gdaniec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC SZAFIRY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radowit Gdaniec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, FC SZAFIRY's Ludomir Debowski got a free kick in the 71st minute. Arturo Acevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Feliks Wielkopolski made a huge save. Feliks Wielkopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Acevedo in the 77th minute. During the 79th minute of the match Arnaldo Theodore completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. When Radowit Gdaniec came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC SZAFIRY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Radowit Gdaniec couldn't finish the play. The SOUTH THUNDER players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
