The SOUTH THUNDER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Felix Nourry kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Isidoro Godoy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nelson Cloarec was relentless in the 32nd minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davy Giacomoni to make the kick off. When Isidoro Godoy came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the SOUTH THUNDER fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidoro Godoy couldn't finish the play. If Arturo Acevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as SOUTH THUNDER's Arturo Acevedo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nelson Cloarec. That made the score 1-2 after 92 minutes of play. The SOUTH THUNDER supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SOUTH THUNDER would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
